Surfactant-assisted exfoliation of boron nitride nanosheet |

Boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs) are receiving intensive research interests through the fascinating properties of 2D graphene-like morphology and properties of BNNS. While several reports have shown the preparation of soluble BNNS derivatives, there are very limited methods for the preparation of stable dispersion of BNNS in solvent media. In this study, various surfactant have been examined for the facilitation of exfoliation of BN nanosheets to prepare stable dispersion of BNNS. Through this approach, various BNNS-based nanopatterns and nanodevices can be easily created through the exploitation of various wet processes. |
