Extending horizons of surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy to novel in-situ measurements of chemical/conformational changes of molecules at interface |
초록 |
In this presentation, we present some examples that extend the scopes of conventional SPR via the control of surface architecture at the nanometer scale. We first show the in-situ and ultrasensitive detection of metal ions and endocrine disrupters using the self-assembly of receptor molecules. Suggestions for improving the economic feasibility and sensitivity of this technique are given. The in situ detection of the conformational dynamics of proteins (in this talk, superoxide dismutase, SOD) at interface which is important biologically as well as in engineered systems for biosensors and biocatalysts is also described. |
