제목 Formation of Triblock Copolymer-like Clusters in Functionalized Polystyrene/Polyisoprene/Polymethyl methacrylate Blends via Ionic Interactions
초록 The self-assembly of block copolymers have attracted considerable interests for several decades because of the abundance in phase behaviour and morphological structures. Recently, as an alternative method to render nanoscale structuring by self-organization, it has been demonstrated that physical bondings such as ionic interaction in place of covalent bondings can be used advantageously. Using such physical bondings in place of covalent bondings, thermoreversible block copolymer-like clusters can be constructed. In the present work, the morphological stuctures of reversibly associating triblock-like blends system consisting of different species of functionalized homopolymers were investigated. For this purpose, polyisoprene and polymethyl methacrylate having amine group at one end (ω-functionalized PI and PMMA) were prepared by anionic polymerization, and also telechelic polystyrene end-capped by sulfonic acid group (α,ω-difunctionalized PS) were prepared by same polymerization method. Then the morphological structures of their blends are investigated by SAXS and TEM.
