Highly porous nanostructured NiMoO4 microspheres were synthesized through a hydrothermal reaction of the composite solution composed of metal precursor, water, ethanol and urea, and subsequent thermal process for the generation of crystal growth. The NiMoO4 stacked with nanoparticles possess excellent porous morphology by creating microspheres with high surface area, high pore volume and well-developed interior spaces caused by reciprocal interaction among water, ethanol, and urea. As a result, NiMoO4 microspheres deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 890 mAhg-1 at a current density of 500 mAg-1 after 200 cycles without capacity decay. |
