제목 | Thermal behaviors of TiN synthesized by sol-gel method |
초록 | Transition metal nitrides have been researched extensively because of their properties. Among these, Titanium nitride (TiN) has the most attention. TiN is a ceramic materials which possesses the good combination of physical and chemical properties, such as high melting point (2927°C), high hardness, and relatively low specific gravity, high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. With these properties, TiN plays an important role in functional materials for applications in separating hydrogen from fossil fuel. In this research, we studied the thermal stability of TiN to implement characteristic of TiN. TiN was synthesized as precursor by using sol-gel process. TiN was characterized by XRD, BET, SEM and Sievert`s type hydrogen permeation membrane equipment. Keywords: Titanium nitride(TiN), Sol-gel, Thermal stability |
