Evaluation of anticorrosive properties of zinc phosphate-coated mica pigment |
| 초록 |
The work deals with zinc phosphate-coated mica pigments for anticorrosive barrier coating. Zinc phosphate is one of the most commercially successful non-toxic inhibitive pigment used in paint formulations. And mica is widely used lamellar pigment for anticorrosive coating. In order to improve the protective action, the corrosion inhibition properties of zinc phosphates and mica were combined. The corrosion inhibitor performance of the pigments was monitored using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique. It was found that the pigment content in coating and zinc phosphate coating on mica affect greatly the anticorrosive barrier function of organic coating. |
