제목 New back bone copolymer based on 2,7-dihydroindeno[2,1-a]indene and 4,7-di-2-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole units for polymer solar cells
초록 Polymer photovoltaic cells are very attractive for future potable energy generator. To improve the efficiency of the polymer photovoltaic cells, various new polymer materials were synthesized with a structure of alternating push-pull type copolymers based on 2,7-dihydroindeno[2,1-a]indene and 4,7-di-2-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole units (PININEDTBT). The energy band gap of the copolymer was around 1.84 eV, with HOMO energy level of 5.45 eV and LUMO energy level of 3.61 eV, respectively. Under white light illumination (AM 1.5 G, 100 mW/cm2), the solar cells fabricated from the mixture of PININEDTBT and [6,6]-phenyl-C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) show an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.80 V corresponding to the low HOMO level of PININEDTBT.
