Automobile shredder residues, the rest part of ELV (end-of-life vehicles) except the recycled substance are composed of light and heavy fluffs and soil/dust. These ASR should be treated properly to satisfy the stringent regulation for the waste of developed country like Japan and Europe. Thermal treatment should be one of the important option and new technologies have to be developed. Therefore, the gasification of ASR was performed in this study. The characteristics of ASR such as heating value and total heavy metal contents have been analyzed, also. |
