| 제목 | Cyclic Olefin Copolymers Containing Imide ringsvia Ring-opening Metathesis Polymerization |
| 초록 | Ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of tricyclic norborneneimide monomers, exo,exo-1,1a,4,4a,5,6,7,8-octahydro-1,4-methanonaphthalene-6,7-dicarboxylic cyclohexylimide and n-hexylimide, produced polymers with good thermal stability and transparency. In this study, tricyclic norborneneimide monomers were copolymerized with norbornene to control the physical properties of the copolymers. ROMP of the monomers was carried out with Grubbs' catalyst and the copolymers were hydrogenated to remove the unsaturated double bonds of the copolymers. Details of the polymerization and physical properties of the polymers will be presented. |
