Conjugated polymers have attracted a great deal of attention because of their potential application as EL materials for light-emitting diodes(LED). To achievement of high efficiency and luminescence in an LED, prevented self-quenching process due to formations of excimers and a balanced injection of the electron from a cathode and hole from an anode are essential. EL polymers involving hole transporting units such as a triphenylamine or carbazole group in main chain or side chain have been studied to enhance the hole transport efficiency. Here, we will report synthesis and characterization of novel polymers containing arylamine group, which is expected to have high efficiency and luminance due to good hole mobility as well as inhibited intermolecular interaction. |
