Conjugated polymers are promising materials for use in flexible electronics, such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs), organic solar cells and etc.. Of the well-known thiophene derivatives, ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) shows excellent hole-transporting property due to its electron-donating dialkoxy substituents. Here we prepared EDOT containing conjugated polymers, and investigated thermal, optical, and electrochemical properties of the polymers. In this presentation, detailed synthetic schemes and characterization results will be discussed. |
