Synthesis of Poly(p-phenylenevinylene)s with Electron-Withdrawing Cyano Group for Polymeric Light-Emitting Diodes |
| 초록 |
An electron-withdrawing group onto the arylene ring or the vinyl group of poly(p-phenylenevinylene)(PPV) had lower the HOMO and LUMO energies of polymer than others. We synthesized PPV with an electron-withdrawing cyano group on polymer backbone,poly[5-cyano-2-(4’-(3”,7”-dimethylocttyl)oxy)phenoxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (p-CNDMOP-PPV) via the Gilch polymerization. Those were obtained UV- and PL data (450 nm and 605 nm) lower than PPV. We investigated the effect of the electron-withdrawing group on physical and electrochemical properties of p-CNDMOP-PPV, as well as the performance of light-emitting diodes. |
