Highly sensitive and selective assay for the screening of biomolecules has been a great interest in clinical diagnostics, biochemical analysis, drug screening, and gene profiling. Recent advances, numerous types of novel probe materials such as nanowires, carbon nanotubes, gold nanoparticles, and quantum dot have been promising candidates for highly sensitive assay through some approaches such as electrical, electrochemical, colorimetric scheme. However, still now, fluorescence based assays have been the most widely used sensing model. Herein we report a fluorescent vesicle based sensor to detect an oligonucleotide sequence related with pathogenic species, Bacillus anthracis, as target DNA. |
