제목 Hyperbranched Aromatic Polyamides with Vinyl-Terminated End Groups
초록 Hyperbranched aromatic polyamides were synthesized with AB2 and A2B type monomers by direct polycondensation using a condensing agent. The modifications of end-groups in the resulting polymers with acryloyl chloride and allyl alcohol were studied. The original polymer having amino groups is insoluble in THF, but soluble in polar aprotic solvents such as DMSO, DMF, and NMP. Carboxylic acid-terminated hyperbranched aromatic polyamide is soluble in either THF and polar aprotic solvents. The structures of hyperbranched polymers were confirmed by 1H-NMR and FT-IR. The molecular weights were determined by gel permeation chromatography(GPC), and the molecular weights of carboxylic acid-terminated hyperbranched aromatic polyamides were about 15,000~18,000. The degree of branching(DB) of amine-terminated hyperbranched polymer was calculated to be 0.34 from the integration ratio of the peaks from 1H-NMR. Thermal properties were characterized by DSC and TGA measurements.
