Recently, we have reported the ionic charge-selective electrolde electron transfer at the fullerene-multilayered architecture on an ITO surface. As a continuation of the charge-selective electrode research, the ITO surface was modified by the layer-layer self-assembly of polyelectrolytes. The formation of self-assembly of polyelectrolytes on the surface can control the surface charge, and prove the assumption of the development of negative charge on the fullerene-modified ITO electrodes. Actually, the formation of negatively charged ITO surface showed the same ionic charge-selective electron transfer as those of the fullerene-modified electrode. Furthermore, Surface electrostatic interation bring about charge matched ion layers. then these ionic layers occur diode phenomenon by these energy level. |
