제목 The effect of biomolecule absoption on the fibroblast adhesion to the heparin-based hydrogel
초록 Heparin-based hydrogels were prepared by means of Michael-type addition of thiol groups of heparin to the acryl groups of poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate. Gelation of the hydrogel was monitored using a rheometer. Depending on the crosslinking conditions, the gelation kinetics and the mechanical properties can be tuned. To enhance the cell adhesion effect to the hydrogel, various biomolecules were absorbed to the hydrogel using the heparin-binding affinity of the biomolecules. 2-D adhesion of fibroblast and 3-D adhesion of the encapsulated cells inside the hydrogel were studied in terms of the viability, the phenotype and the proliferation of the cells.
