A series of waterborne polyurethane cationomers were prepared from polytetramethyleneoxide glycol, 4,4-dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate, and N-methyl diethanolamine (NMDEA). The relation between the NMDEA content with physical, mechanical, and thermal properties as well as adhesive strength of coated nylon fabrics were investigated. The optimum adhesive strength depend on NMDEA content and processing condition such as pressing temperature and pressure during preparation of adhesive of nylon fabrics. |
