제목 Amplified spontaneous emission in an Organic semiconductor with ultra thin gain medium
초록 In this presentation, we report on amplified spontaneous emission in an organic semiconductor with ultra-thin gain medium (40 nm) of tris (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) doped with 2 wt% of (4-(dicyanomethylene)-2-methyl-6-(p-dimethylaminostyryl)-4H-pyran) (DCM) in multilayer structures with N,N’-dicarbazolyl-3,5-benzene (mCP) layer on glass substrates using Nd-YAG nanosecond pulsed laser (9 ns, 10 Hz). Efficient Forster energy transfer between Alq3 and DCM and optical confinements of the propagation modes result in low threshold for lasing of 4.5 μJ/cm2 in such thin gain medium.
