For the purpose of improving CO2 solubility of ionic liquid, new type of strongly basic ionic liquid, such as [Cn-mim]OPh, is synthesized and studied with various experimental condition.[Cn-mim]OPh, which is combinated with imidazolium-based cation and phenolate-based anion with strong basicity, expected to show strong attraction with CO2 and is simulated using Gaussian 03 program.CO2 solubilies of [Cn-mim]OPh is measured using vapor-liquid equillibrium apparatus, and regeneration, repetition, and kinetic tests are also studied.And, affects of cations and anions of ionic liquids on CO2 solubility are studied. |
