Inorganic flame retadant is newly focused to substitute the strong agent composed of brome derivatives or bominated materials. In this study hydroxides of aluminum and magnesium compound were studied to apply the propriety with polyvinyl chloride sol for the interior silk wallpaper. Hydroxide compounds of aluminum and magnesium were prepared by the reaction with phosphoric acid. Thus, the applied hydroxide compounds were the hydroxylated metal phosphates. The tendency of flame retardation was not similar to the brominated commercial products, but availability to the retadation in PVC sol was shown in composite case with aluminum and magnesium hydroxides. |
