제목 | The Preparation of Carbon Aerogel/Polypyrrole Nanocomposites and Study on their Application as Photovoltaic Materials |
초록 | Photovoltaic cells from organic materials are expected to offer the cheap and flexible light-electric energy conversion tools replacing the conventional silicone-based solar cells. Carbon aerogel having high specific area may be a candidate for efficient electron-acceptor in combination with conductive polymer as an electron-donor in fabrication of polymeric photovoltaic cells. In this study, carbon aerogels were prepared by pyrolysis of resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) aerogels obtained by supercritical drying with carbon dioxide. Diverse methods were applied to impregnate polypyrrole into carbon aerogels, which include the variation of composition, forced penetration under vacuum, gellation condition, and drying processes. Fundamental physical and chemical properties were investigated in the view of application as the photovoltaic materials. The polymeric photovoltaic cells that were fabricated by sandwiching the prepared nanocomposites as photoactive materials between ITO-coated glass and metals having low work function, were tested and modified for enhancing photovoltaic properties. |
