제목 Fabrication of molecular logic gates with new molecular rectifiers and switching molecules
초록 In recent, since the molecular rectifier has been known for the possible candidate for the implementation of logic gate that is a basic element in circuits, impressive progress has been made in the field of molecular rectifiers by using organic molecules and biomolecules.
Here, we report the synthesis of novel electron donor-sigma-acceptor-thiol acetate molecule including CV, DSC, and the characterization for the formation of single monolayer by self-assembly process (SAM). We also report molecular rectifying properties with conducting probe atomic force microscopy (CP-AFM). The self-assembled monolayer of a newly synthesized rectifying molecule is used to fabricate a nano-pore 3x3 array diode device in the structure of metal-molecule-metal (MMM). We also present the array device fabrication and performance with molecular switching molecule.
