The effect of sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (s-PEEK) loading on the electrode for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) was investigated. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV) were carried out at 30℃ on the electrodes with different s-PEEK loadings. EIS supplied information on the resistance and CV on the electrochemical active area for the electrode. These parameters affected the characteristics of the electrode, so an optimum s-PEEK loading could be obtained. |
