제목 Effect of crosslinked membrane on direct methanol fuel cell
초록 The cell performance of DMFC is dependent on cell components, such as membrane, catalyst layer, gas diffusion layer, bipolar plate and so on. Recently, several researchers have studied crosslinking of membrane because it can reduce methanol crossover and increase dimensional stability. In this study, the characteristics of DMFC using crosslinked membrane were investigated. Membranes were composed of sulfonated polyimide and crosslinker. By controlling the amount of crosslinker and crosslinking between crosslinkers, membranes of semi-IPN with various crosslinking densities were prepared. DMFC using these membranes were characterized by polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
