제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Hyperbranched Poly(arylene ether amine)s through Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution (SNAr) Reaction
초록
Hyperbranched polymers synthesized by one step polymerization of ABx-type monomers have peculiar properties compared to their linear analogues due to their globular structures. In this study, we synthesized the novel AB2 and A2B type monomers where the A group is phenol and the B group is nitro, 4-[bis-(4-nitro-3-trifluoromethylphenyl)amino]phenol and 4-[(4-nitro-3-trifluoromethylphenyl)amino]diphenol. The monomers were polymerized to high molecular weight hyperbranched poly(arylene ether amine)s through SNAr reaction. Though the monomers have electron releasing amine group at para position of the nitro leaving group, polymerization proceeded successfully. The detailed polymerization mechanism and properties of hyperbranched polymers will be discussed.
