제목 Nanoclay reinforcement of UV cured acrylic resins
초록 Polymer nanaocomposite containing inorganic nanoparticles such as layered silicate minerals have been paid attention because the clay nanoparticles can provide a remarkable improvement in mechanical properties, thermal resistance, barrier properties, and flame retardancy to the host polymers. UV curable resins have been important in many applications due to the combination of high productivity, low energy consumption with minimal environmental pollutions. Reinforcement of the UV curable resins are required for many applications such as protective coatings, dental prosthesis, and adhesives. In the formulation of UV curable urethane acrylate resins to produce hard and abrasion resistant composite material. Influences of reactive diluents on the structure and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were also examined.
