The “Click” concept is one of the most noticeable synthetic strategies today. The word “Click” describes powerful and selective reactions that can be completed in a short time under mild conditions. The reaction of azides and alkynes yielding 1,2,3-triazoles catalyzed by Cu(I) is the most common “Click” reaction.A polymer-supported N-heterocyclic carbene─copper(I) complex catalyst (CMPS-NHC-Cu(I)) was prepared. The catalyst was highly efficient for [3+2] cycloaddition of various azides and alkynes. The reactionswere completedin a short time with excellent yields at room temperature. Moreover, the catalyst could be recovered by simple filtration. |
