Synthesis and characterization of curing agent for advanced epoxy resin from Bis(4-Amino-3-Methylphenyl) Terephthalate |
초록 |
The new thermoset polymer containing mesogen structure was synthesized to improve thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy resin. The epoxy resin derived from bis(4-amino-3-methylphenyl) terephthalate (BAMT) and YD128 (bisphenol type epoxy from Kukdo) was prepared by thermal curing process. This epoxy resin exhibited good thermal property such as 5% weight loss temperature at 341.6℃, glass transition temperature (Tg) in the range of 120-145℃ and thermal conductivity of 0.275. Also this polymer showed good mechanical propertie such as tensile strength of 80.63MPa. |
