Synthesis and characterization of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-grafted low molecular weight water-soluble chitosn |
초록 |
The object of this study is to synthesize methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MPEG)-grafted chitosan and solubilize it to organic solvent and aqueous solution. low molecular weight water soluble chitosan(LMWSC) was used to synthesis of PEG-graft copolymerization. MPEG was conjugated to the water soluble chitosan using 4-dicyclohexylcarbodimide (DCC), and N-hydroxysuccimide (NHS). Degree of substitution (DS) of MPEG into chitosan was also calculated from 1H NMR results and molecular weight (M.W.) was estimated by gel-permeation chromatography (GPC). |
