Efficient polymer solar cell and perovskite solar cell modules fabricated by 3D printer-modified slot-die coating system |
초록 |
Despite advances in device-engineering, there is a huge efficiency-gap between the highest performing solar cell devices and large-scale fully printed modules. The primary reason for the gap is that the processing mechanisms of spin-casting and scalable coating/printing are totally different. For the striking development in large size solar cell and module, therefore, the device-engineering study should be conducted with scalable process such as slot-die coating. As an efficient tool for scaling-up the solution-processed solar cells, we developed slot-die coating system from 3D printer platform which has flexibility in xyz-axes moving control. With low installation-cost and material-consumption in this slot-die coater, highly efficient polymer solar cells with PCDTBT:PCBM bulk heterojunction were demonstrated with a PCE of over 6 % and a PCE of 4.57 % in 47.3 cm2 size large module, and perovskite solar cells showed a PCE of over 11 %. |
