제목 Adsorption of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate by porous polymer resins in radioactive liquid waste
초록 During the decontamination or decommissioning process, huge amount of surfactants are used to remove radioactive isotopes and, thus radioactive liquid wastes (RLWs) contain such surfactants. Discharging the liquid waste including surfactants should be removed because of their toxicity for environment. Thus, RLWs including surfactants have to be purified to discharge clean water for keeping the nature. Though sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) with low concentration (1-3 mg/L) can be completely removed by conventional purification methods of surfactants-containing LW, SDBS with high concentration of SDBS still need to study for complete removal. Therefore, we investigated use of ion-exchange resins, which is able to adsorb SDBS effectively in batch system. In this study, we demonstrate the adsorption kinetics of the resin to removed SDBS. Moreover, we are going to show removal efficiency of SDBS chelated with Cs ion by of porous polymer resins in RLWs.
