The Self-organization of the Stripe Patterned Fullerene-Mesogenic Monomer in a Cholesteric Liquid Crystal |
| 초록 |
Fullerene-Mesogenic Monomer (C60RM) was newly synthesized. We proposed a novel patterned Fullerene-Mesogenic Monomer (C60RM) through mixed in cholesteric liquid crystalline medium without external agents, C60RM particles were micro-oriented resulting from phase separation between C60RM and the cholesteric liquid crystal. Its thermal and structural properties were studied by the combined techniques of NMR and UV-Vis, DSC, TGA, X-ray diffraction, and POM.
