초록 | Nanobiotechnology is a recently activated term describing the convergence of the molecular biology and engineering or rather bioengineering and nanotechnology. Within the last decade, a combination of these disciplines realized a new class of smart devices and systems for biological and chemical analysis defined by improved specificity and sensitivity and higher rates of recognition compared with previous solutions. And the biomedical applications are being expanded to therapeutic purposes, cell behavior control and biological materials find new applications in Nanotechnology. Nanobiotechnology can be simply explained by the term “a bridge between Nano and Bio. In this talk, brief introduction of nanobiotech will be given and related current works at my lab will be discussed. Specific theme will be 1) nanomaterial applications for cell control, 2) nanomaterial applications for in vivo/in vitro biosensor |
