EFFECT OF INDENYL AND CYCLOPENTADIENYL LIGAND IN TITANOCENCES USING METHYL ALUMINOXANE AS COCATALYST SYSTEMS ON ISOBUTYL VINYL ETHER POLYMERIZATION |

Poly(isobutyl vinyl ether) (PIBVE) were synthesized in methylence chloride with different catalyst systems: indenyltitanium trichloride (IndTiCl3), cyclopentadienyl titanium trichloride (CpTiCl3) and dinuclear half-titanocenes with polymethylene-bridge, -(CH2)n-(n= 3; 6), using methyl aluminoxanes (MAO) as cocatalyst. The aim of research is to develop a new method to produce the electron-rich polyolefins with a high syndiotacticity, high molecular weight (Mn) and narrow molecular weight distribution (PDI). The stereoregularity of PIBVE was determined by 13C NMR analysis, meanwhile, Mn & PDI were observed by GPC. |
