제목 Tuning Platinum Electrode with Self-Assembled Monolayer
초록 Organic-metal interface in organic field effect transistor(OFET) plays crucial rules in the device performance and tuning gold electrode, which is widely used as source and drain electrodes in OFET devices, with self-assembled monolayers(SAM) have been studied in order to improve the organic-metal contact. However, platinum, which is expected to improve device performance since it has higher work function, has not much studied yet. We investigated platinum electrode and SAM-modified platinum electrode with ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy (UPS) and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS). Also, we applied those electrodes to Pentacene field effect transistor and examined their performance.
