The electron beam irradiation technique is effective for the preparation of nanostructures, having some special advantages: short reaction time, the absence of chemical residue after the reaction, and mass production. However, a large-scale synthesis of uniform nanostructures with well-defined shapes and tunable sizes, using electron beam irradiation, has not yet been reported to our best knowledge. In this study, the one-pot fabrications of silver nanostructures on substrates are achieved through electron beam irradiation of Ag(I)-SC12 film with highly ordered supramolecular structures. The Ag(I)-SC12 films are prepared simply by spin coating Ag salt and dodecanethiolate solution. TThe morphology and chemical composition of the irradiated samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), and UV/Vis spectra. The detail results will be given in the meeting. |
