제목 Synthesis of various amino-containing polymers coated silica nanoparticles and their antibacterial activities.
초록 Various amine containing polymer coated silica nanoparticles were fabricated by vapor deposition polymerization in order to investigate their antimicrobial properties. The core/shell nanoparticles were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The antibacterial properties of the core/shell nanoparticles were investigated against both Gram-positive (Escherichia coli) and Gram-negative (Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria. In this work, we investigated dependency of the antibacterial activities on the state of amine groups.
