Synthesis of various amino-containing polymers coated silica nanoparticles and their antibacterial activities. |
초록 |
Various amine containing polymer coated silica nanoparticles were fabricated by vapor deposition polymerization in order to investigate their antimicrobial properties. The core/shell nanoparticles were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The antibacterial properties of the core/shell nanoparticles were investigated against both Gram-positive (Escherichia coli) and Gram-negative (Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria. In this work, we investigated dependency of the antibacterial activities on the state of amine groups. |
