Polypyrrole-incorporating Modification of Nafion for Biomimetic Actuator |

In this study, we prepared the incorporated Nafion with the chemical oxidized polypyrrole and properly designed the multi-layerd Nafions by heat-compressing process to overcome the definite limitations of IPMC actuator; low force generation. The modified Nafion was evaluated possibilities as IPMC matrix by electrochemical properties. To observe its morphology, the prepared membrane was characterized by element analysis, DSC, XRD, ATR-IR. Experimental results are demonstrated that this modification could lead to improving performance related with its morphology and operating mechanism. |
