The effect of the electrode on the performance of ionic polymer metal composite (IPMC) actuators |
| 초록 |
In combination, the performance of the IPMC actuator was influenced by both thickness of nafion film and Pt electrode. In order to know how to affect the enhanced performance of IPMC, the electrode of IPMC (nafion thickness: 0.18, 0.90 mm) was deposited by electroless plating on both sides of the nafion film in a various conditions such as temperature, solvents. Swelling ratio was measured by the change of water content and the actuating properties of IPMC were examined by using the laser displacement measurement system. SEM and EDS profiles of IPMC were measured. |
