Study on actuation behavior of IPMC actuator based on polypyrrole-incorporated Nafion |
| 초록 |
This study reports the synthesis of PPy particles and dispersion of the particles into Nafion matrix. By incorporating PPy particles into Nafion solution, modified Nafion membranes are fabricated and applied to manufacture IPMC actuator. To investigate effects of conducting polymers to improve actuation, other particles which have similar size with PPy are used as a reference. The membranes are characterized by SEM, XRD, ATR-IR and actuation tests are performed. Experimental results are demonstrated that this modification could lead to improve performance. |
