제목 Dynamic mechanical and thermal properties of silk fiber reinforced polypropylene-poly(lactic acid)blend biocomposites
초록 In recent years, with emphasis of growing enviromental awareness, natural fibers have been incresingly used as reinforcing materials in composites. In this research silk fiber is examined as a reinforcement of biocomposites. Blend of polypropylene(PP)/polylactic acid(PLA)(1:1) were considered a matrix of biocomposites in terms of improving the mechanical properties of PLA and also increasing of the environmentally friendliness of PP. Dynamic mechanical and thermal properties of silk fiber reinforced PP/PLA blend biocomposites were investigated byDMA, TMA, TGA. Also, the interfacial properties between polymer matrix and reinforcement was observed by SEM.
