제목 Studies on measuring surface energetics of carbon fibers by various length fiber packing methods based on modified Washburn method 
초록 In this work, the influences of various cell packing method on measuring surface energetics of carbon fiber length were studied. The carbon fibers were chopped to various length or packed into sample cell with uni-direction. According to the packing methods, the capillary constant showed dynamic results with different error ranges. It was found that the optimal size in the range of 1~2 inch of carbon fibers showed good reliability of capillary constant by the modified Washburn equation. It was also found that the uni-directionally packed samples showed obviously reliable results. These results indicates that optimal packing in the sample cell determine reliable measuring of surface energetic of carbon fiber in the modified Washburn methods.
