Recently, there have been many researches on control for morphologies of block copolymers(bcps) via hydrogen bonding(HB). In case of binary mixtures between long and short symmetric bcps, Yamaguchi et al. showed phase transformation from lamellae to hex-cylinder. They explained this is due to slight asymmetry of small bcp. In this study, we focused phase transformation on binary mixtures of bcps via HB. So, we prepared binary mixtures with various weight ratios between symmetric long PS-b-P2VP and short PS-b-PHS, which contain HB between P2VP and PHS. As increasing weight fraction of PS-b-PHS, morphologies of binary mixtures changed from lamellae, hex-cylinder to bcc-sphere. And when it was used short, slight asymmetric PS-b-PHS which maintains lamellae with smaller volume fraction for PHS block, we also found phase transformation similar with previous binary mixtures. These results indicate HB is significant contributions to phase transformation on binary mixtures of bcps. |
