In this study, as a negative electrode material of a lithium secondary battery, nano size silicon is used to solve the problem of volume expansion and decrease of stability due to silicon, and a templated porous carbon having mesopores for suppressing volume expansion to prepare a nano Silicon / templated porous carbon composite. Mesophase pitch was used as the carbon precursor and CaCO3 was used to form the template structure. Structural changes of the template structure according to the ratio of Mesophase pitch and CaCO3 were observed and electrochemical performance according to silicon ratio was investigated by changing the ratio of Silicon and carbon. Physical properties of the manufactured composite material were investigated using FE-SEM, BET, XRD, etc. A coin type half-cell was manufactured and its electrochemical characteristics were analyzed. |
