제목 | Nanostructured porous materials for the energy storage applications |
초록 | Nanostructured porous materials have received considerable attention its potential application towards energy storage devices. Especially, nanosized porous mesocrystals with different structure and morphology provide with novel properties originated from large surface area, quantum confined effect and various morphological versatility, exhibiting the enhanced electrochemical performances. Here I discuss the simple and scalable synthesis of various porous mesocrystal materials (metals oxides and carbon composites) with tunable structure and compositions and their properties and applications in energy storage devices. First, solution based a simple synthesis of various nanostructured porous metals and metal oxides with controlled structure and morphology will be discussed. Second, the controlled regulation of morphology and structure as well as various physico-chemical properties of these materials will be covered. In the end, energy storage (lithium ion battery) applications of these porous nanomaterials would be explored. |
