제목 Preparation and characterize of rigid polyether based urethane foam
초록  The rigid polyurethane foams are applied in many thermal insulation products such as refrigerators, freezers, piping, tanks, ship building, and LNG cargos. The rigid foams have  high percent of closed cell structure with low thermal conductivity, high compression strength, and low moisture permeability. In this study, we prepared reference samples using polyol, polymeric MDI, crosslinking agent, water, and a catalyst for rigid polyurethane foam. Other samples were prepared by varying the contents of all the material. The foaming was done in two shot process. The two shot process was prepared that all materials except the isocyante are mixed before the isocyante is added. The products were investigated by kinetic of foam formation, density, hardness, compression set, and cell morphology. As content of water was increased, the density of foam was decreased.
