MR trafficking of gene-transfected human mesenchymal stromal cells in ischemic rat brain model using magnetic nanovectors |
| 초록 |
Gene-transfected stem cells and their MR trafficking might be the cornerstones in regeneration therapy for various diseases. The synchronization of these two tasks is crucial for augmentation of desired stem cell function and real time in vivo monitoring of its biodistribution. Here we report a highly versatile magnetic nanoparticle-based gene delivery system which can ensure simultaneous in vivo gene delivery and cell trafficking by high resolution MR imaging. By using our nanovector system, we successfully synchronized the stem cell migration and its gene expression in rat stroke model. |
