제목 Influence of Silica on Shape Memory Effect and Mechanical Properties of Molded Flexible Polyurethane Foams
초록 Polyurethane(PU) flexible foams having shape memory effects have been synthesized from polyether polyol with silica and 2,4/2,6-toluene diisocyanate (TDI-80) following the one shot foaming method in the presence of water as the blowing agent, crosslingking agents, silicone surfactant, catalyst. With the addition of silica, PU foam showed decreased closed cell content, increased glass transition temperature(Tg) and rubbery modulus. With increasing content of silica, shape fixability was increased, together with the decreased cell size. Moreover, the shape recoverability of the foam was increased with increasing amount of silica.
