Preparation of Zeolite L Having Medium Size Crystal Morphology Using Microwave |
| 초록 |
A convenient synthesis of zeolite L is presented. The size of the crystals can be tuned between 30 and 6000nm spanning a volume range of seven orders of magnitude. Zeolite L can be synthesized by adjusting the starting gel composition; K2O : Al2O3 : SiO2 : H2O. And it is possessing one-dimensional channels arranged in a hexagonal pattern. We obtained medium size crystals of zeolite L by not only hydrothermal method but also the method using microwave during synthesis procedure. X-ray diffractometer revealed the clear peak of this medium size crystal of zeolite L. It was confirmed in SEM images showing the overall cylindrical shape. |
