Structural analysis and crystallization behavior of Poly (1, 4-cyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate) containing renewable monomer, Isosorbide were studied. PICT was synthesized by melt polycondensation with various content of isosorbide. The structure of PICT was analyzed by using COSY, HSQC, and sequence distribution to investigate the relation between ISB block and thermal properties. Among the samples of PICT, ISB content of 5 mole%, 12 mole% and 17 mol% showed crystallinity, where intriguing crystallization behavior could be observed differing from conventional PCT from WAXD. |
